What is a dredging pump?

A dredging pump is a heavy-duty centrifugal pump that moves sediment, sand, gravel, debris and various other solids from the ground to a discharge location through pipes or hoses. Dredging pumps can handle abrasive particulate materials and solids of all sizes and weights by placing them in suspension. As a result, the suspension of the material allows the solids to move through the pipe. Dredging pumps transport mud, sand, sludge and solids that most pumps cannot handle due to their design and type of material.

- The parts have long service life.The parts are made of high chromium wear-resistant alloy whose maximum hardness is more than 60HRC, and they have long service life.

- Reliable seal, no leakage.The O-rings are used on all static seal surfaces, such as between casing and front liner plate, casing and rear liner plate, rear liner plate and  stuffing box, ; the shaft seal uses mechanical seal with water or packing seal to ensure normal operation for a long time.
