With the development and progress of production science and technology, further comprehensive utilization should be made in order to achieve the purpose of no waste discharge and ecological protection.

2. What are the layout modes of tailings pump during tailings transportation.

1) Single-stage tailings pump transportation; applicable occasions: short transportation distance;

2) Multi-stage tailing pump conveying, closed series; applicable occasions: the conveying distance is long, and there is no pumping station in the middle, and the total conveying distance is limited by the bearing pressure of tailings pump;

3) Multi-stage tailing pump + open series transportation; applicable occasions: the transportation distance is not limited, and there are several open relay pumping stations in the middle, which is equivalent to N multi-stage tailings pumps.

3. Precautions for type selection of tailings pump

1) Select the pump with appropriate speed: according to the difference of particle size and fluid density, the appropriate speed shall be selected during the selection of tailings pump, so as to achieve the purpose of economy and applicability;

2) Select a reasonable layout of tailings pump: calculate the total head according to the pipeline and select a reasonable layout of tailings pump to achieve the optimal cost performance;

3) Certain upward and downward adjustment space shall be reserved: due to the influence of fluid density, pipeline layout and other factors, certain upward and downward adjustment space shall be reserved during the selection of tailings pump, so as to avoid timely and effective compensation in case of changes in fluid density and pipeline parameters;

4) Variable frequency motor shall be used as far as possible: due to the influence of 3) factors, variable frequency motor shall be used as far as possible in the selection of tailings pump, and there shall be a certain power margin, so as to avoid being limited by motor power during upward regulation and unable to meet the needs of industry and mining.
